We're currently seeking an Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success.


Position Overview

The Operations Coordinator will be the linchpin of our operations, responsible for maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. This multifaceted role will involve a blend of administrative, operational, and financial responsibilities, with a focus on managing inventory, arranging freight shipments, and overseeing accounts payable / accounts receivables.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Orders processing: Process customer orders in Quickbooks and managing order fulfilment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate inventory replenishment as needed.
  • Shipping / Customer Fulfillment Coordination: Arrange and coordinate freight shipments, preparing documents, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. Handle any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with document preparation, data entry to QuickBooks, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Office Operations: Oversee day-to-day office operations, including ordering office supplies, and production consumables. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications related to inventory, shipments, and customer orders.
  • Compliance and Recordkeeping: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management, freight shipments, and accounts payable. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and reporting activities.


Qualifications:

  • Previous related experience, preferably in a small or medium-sized company.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and QuickBooks (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy..
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
