Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Onsite Industrial Equipment Installation Project Manager to oversee and manage the installation of industrial equipment at various client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the installation project, ensuring that it is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in industrial equipment, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.


Responsibilities:


Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients.

Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the availability of resources required for the installation project, such as manpower, equipment, and materials.

Site Preparation: Oversee site assessments and preparations to ensure that installation activities can be carried out safely and efficiently.

Installation Execution: Manage the day-to-day activities of the installation project, including equipment setup, assembly, and integration, while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that installed equipment meets specifications and complies with regulatory requirements.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues or concerns.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, and change orders to facilitate project tracking and completion.

Client Satisfaction: Proactively address client inquiries, requests, and feedback to ensure a positive experience and foster long-term relationships.

Post-Installation Support: Provide support during the commissioning and startup of installed equipment, addressing any operational issues or performance concerns that arise.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Willingness to travel to client sites as required and work in various industrial environments.

The ability to stay on-site consistently for projects ranging from 1-6 Months possibly more.

Proven experience in project management, preferably in the installation of industrial equipment or machinery.

Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and automation components.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with clients and vendors.

Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, scheduling, and reporting.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
