We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Team Lead to join our growing Water/Wastewater team in Houston, TX. This role involves managing statewide infrastructure projects, mentoring a dynamic team, and ensuring technical excellence. You'll play a critical role in delivering impactful water infrastructure projects while contributing to the long-term growth and success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff across various projects.
  • Oversee the design, planning, and execution of water/wastewater facilities, including treatment plants, pump stations, and pipelines.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet milestones.
  • Provide technical leadership, ensuring quality standards and efficient project delivery.
  • Support business development efforts by preparing proposals and engaging with clients.
  • Develop and grow a statewide facilities practice while contributing to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 20+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering with a focus on facilities projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas
  • Strong leadership and people management experience.
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS is preferred.
