Project Manager - Lifecycle Management

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager specializing in Lifecycle Management. This role involves managing and analyzing data across all OEMs to track the lifecycle of technology assets, identify vulnerabilities, and provide insights to ensure our infrastructure remains secure, compliant, and up to date. You’ll be instrumental in proactively notifying teams of end-of-life risks, budgeting needs, and ordering schedules, helping our organization maintain resilience and minimize risks.
Responsibilities:
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee and monitor the lifecycle of all OEM products currently in production, track end-of-life dates, and anticipate renewal or replacement needs.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities across all OEM assets, coordinating with security and IT teams to address potential risks.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct extensive data mining to evaluate asset status, anticipate issues, and create actionable insights and reports to guide decision-making.
- Budget & Forecasting: Collaborate with financial teams to forecast budget needs based on asset lifecycle and vulnerability data, supporting informed budgeting and timely procurement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely updates to relevant teams, including anticipated end-of-life and vulnerability notices, to ensure alignment on action items and priorities.
- Risk Management: Develop risk mitigation strategies by identifying technology components nearing end-of-life or at heightened risk, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize lifecycle and vulnerability management processes to streamline data collection, reporting, and forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably with a focus on vulnerability management, lifecycle management, or IT asset management.
- Proven experience with data mining, analysis, and reporting, with a strong aptitude for handling large datasets and drawing actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in creating and managing complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with OEM lifecycle data, vulnerability management processes, and related technologies.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach to project management.
- Ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and escalate issues when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IT asset management platforms or vulnerability management tools.
- Experience working in a cross-functional and geographically distributed team.
