Bonus: 10% of salary (Manager Level Bonus)
Position Summary: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities within the recycling plant. The role involves utilizing Coupa and FIIX software to manage work orders, maintain inventory, and ensure the efficient operation of equipment. The Maintenance Planner will work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules using FIIX CMMS software.
- Prioritize work orders based on urgency, equipment criticality, and resource availability.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and personnel are available for scheduled work.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate unforeseen breakdowns or changes in production requirements.
- Inventory Management:
- Utilize Coupa for procurement and inventory management of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Work Order Management:
- Generate, track, and close work orders within FIIX, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze work order data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing
- Proficiency in using Coupa for procurement and inventory management - preferred
- Experience with FIIX or similar CMMS software for work order management and maintenance scheduling.
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
