We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Tekni-Plex. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including machinery, controls, and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, as well as experience with PLCs and CMMS software.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including machinery, controls, and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including programmable controls, PLCs, and control panels.
- Collect and analyze data on manufacturing control floor systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement projects to improve control system efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance planners to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Participate in meetings to discuss asset efficiency and provide solutions for improvement.
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in technical positions, preferably in manufacturing facilities.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLCs, CMMS software, and industrial machinery installation.
- Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs and walk up and down stairs.
