Position Overview:


As the Director of Account Management, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding relationships with our most valued and complex clients to optimize our product within their operations. Leading the Account Management team, you will drive strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing satisfaction and revenue growth among our top B2B customers. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional relationship-building skills, and an understanding of the fintech landscape.



Responsibilities:


  • Formulate and execute strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
  • Guide and mentor a team of account managers to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, comprehending their business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate across sales and product teams to ensure alignment in client strategy and execution.
  • Analyze client performance metrics, discern trends, and offer insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for client issues and concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and a positive client experience.
  • Actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and business reviews.



Requirements:


  • Have a minimum of 6 years' experience in scaling and overseeing client-facing sales or B2B account management teams in dynamic environments, ideally within the fintech sector.
  • Demonstrate at least 3 years of managerial experience, specializing in fostering and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in managing diverse customer relationships across different functions and organizational levels, from executives to individual contributors.
  • Possess prior experience leading an Account Management function, with a track record of reporting to VP/C-level executives.
  • Demonstrate a strong history of establishing and nurturing relationships with enterprise-level clients.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of financial products, markets, and industry trends.
  • Showcase exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Exhibit a strategic mindset, with the ability to translate client requirements into actionable plans effectively.
