Our manufacturing client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team at their facility in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all processes.

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team and oversee all warehouse operations; this includes material handling, receiving, kitting, and shipping. This role will provide hands-on supervision while motivating, leading by example, and exercising a positive team-building atmosphere. The successful candidate will continuously improve all, inbound, outbound, and internal material movement.

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

In November the schedule will shift to Monday - Thursday 10 hour work days, so you will get a 3 day weekend every weekend

Salary starting at $75,000/year, commensurate with experience

Annual bonus opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the stockrooms
  • Provide guidance, direction, and enhance individual performance through defined expectations, training, coaching, and mentoring of the warehouse team
  • Develop and ensure successful performance against departmental metrics by taking tactical actions or implementing process improvement as needed
  • Establish a high-performing culture, commitment to excellence, and improvement
  • Ensure processes and procedures related to material movement in MRP and outside MRP are enforced and documented
  • Manage company cycle counting procedures and shipment transactions to achieve accuracy of inventory
  • Maintain communication with customers to answer shipping and receiving inquiries and troubleshoot problems
  • Ensures general safety, compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company requirements

Qualifications:

  • 4 + years of experience in warehouse management or in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge and experience in managing inventory and handling procedures
  • Knowledge of carrier portals such as UPS and FedEx.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bilingual preferred
