As a Warehouse Supervisor at GXO Logistics, you will manage the warehouse operations and lead your team to ensure seamless functionality. By becoming part of GXO, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding freight solutions to our international clientele.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly wage for this position is $26.50. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The final pay may vary, and this rate is applicable for jobs performed in California. Future modifications to this rate may occur. This position is also eligible for hourly shift differential pay. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise operational workflows to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment
  • Assess workload and delegate tasks to team members
  • Effectively train and mentor warehouse staff, providing growth opportunities and recommending disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Utilize a warehouse management system proficiently and maintain necessary documentation
  • Foster and uphold exceptional customer service standards
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations to ensure compliance; operate various equipment and tools safely
  • Offer support and assistance to warehouse management as needed
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
  • At least 1 year of experience with SAP
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanning devices
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
This role requires the capability to:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift over 75 lbs.
  • Operate a reach truck or cherry picker to heights exceeding 23 feet
  • Adapt to varying temperature conditions in the warehouse
