We are seeking a dynamic Scheduling Advisor/Scheduling Coordinator to join our accomplished team. This role will be part of the Project Controls Office within our esteemed Grid Scale Renewables Team. As a Scheduling Advisor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal and external project teams, contributing to the management, training, and enhancement of project scheduling processes, procedures, and best practices throughout all phases of project life cycles. You will lead a team of schedulers/planners and manage your own portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in project scheduling and control disciplines; take ownership of developing and refining scheduling policies, standards, and guidelines to optimize project schedule deliverables.
  • Independently monitor schedule health and viability metrics across the portfolio, implementing improvements as necessary. Supervise internal and external resources to ensure ongoing support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Investigate and proactively address underlying issues and risks related to project information, delivering effective solutions.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders on matters including project scope, contract requirements, schedule progress, and performance.
  • Regularly generate, evaluate, and distribute comprehensive weekly and monthly project status reports.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project scheduler/planner, demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to excel in this role.
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project Professional, Project Web App (PWA), or Primavera P6.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create customized schedule analysis tools using data import, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, graphs, charts, and custom formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP). Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and S-Curve calculation and analysis is essential.
  • Expertise in project schedule development using the Critical Path Method and conducting forensic schedule analysis using dynamic CPM schedule models.
