Summary

In this role, you will help establish assortment strategies and determine, develop, and optimize resulting assortment plans to drive growth, profitability, and brand covetability. As part of the Digital Commerce team, you will have responsibility for a strategic role where you will define the Digital Shelf strategy, set the standards, define action plans to ensure that minimum operating standards are met, partner with divisions to attain/maintain operational excellence and continuous improvement to offer a seamless digital consumer experience.


Essential Functions

  • Own end-to-end product content creation process for Digital Shelf
  • Own end-to-end product discoverability, including Search
  • Oversee retailer syndication process for new product launches and restages to ensure products and assets launch on time with all digital shelf content
  • Translate brand roadmap to develop digital shelf content strategies for fully coordinated campaigns and content experiences, and the corresponding assets that bring those narratives to life
  • Create clear and detailed briefs to hand off to internal stakeholder to bring digital marketing and technical enhancement to life
  • Be expert in retailer requirements and develop scaled approach to deliver best-in-class digital shelf content across banners.
  • Focus on increasing retailer content scores to ensure all necessary content is present, which feeds retailer algorithms leading to higher organic rankings
  • Measure impact of content optimizations through A/B testing, AI tools, and analyzing performance metrics such as share of search, conversion rate, and organic traffic
  • Manage team meetings and brand and retailer share-outs to ensure partners are aware of the content the team is creating and the impact it has on KPIs
  • Engage and partner with Brand, Market Research, and Sales teams to stay up to date on the latest consumer insights, industry trends, competitive strategy, search strategy and overall product discoverability
  • Lead a team of 5 direct reports to deliver accelerated sales through execution of the end-to-end digital shelf consumer journey


Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • 5+ years of project management experience leading medium to large size projects.

4-year college degree required.

  • Grocery Retail industry experience a plus. Five-Seven years of experience in e-commerce, preferably business to consumer environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to lead and inspire associates within the team, and across the wider business.
  • Proven ability to interact with associates at various levels, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate understanding of best practices in e-commerce including: consumer journey mapping, content creation/management, site merchandising, taxonomy, mobile optimization, SEO, CRM, promotions, reviews, site personalization.
  • Must have incredible attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, time management skills, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and take meaningful action upon it.
  • Strong interpersonal and creative skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and multiple tasks while responding to changing priorities.
  • A hands-on self-starter, with a can-do results oriented positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
