POSITION SUMMARY The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides specialized knowledge

and skills for psychiatric and health evaluation, assessment and management of clients. Strong

therapy skills are essential.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides psychotherapy for patients.

• Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history

• Practices in collaboration with psych NPs, psychiatrist and other medical staff to manage

patient care

• Develop and execute individual treatment plans

• Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress

• Communicate client updates to all relevant parties

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs

• Maintain accurate client documentation


Qualifications:

• Previous experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Ability to build rapport with clients

• Strong leadership qualities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Specific experience in treating various modalities of Behavioral Health/Mental

Health/Trauma of patients preferred.

• New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker Required
