Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of clients
  • Provide supportive counseling and therapy to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community agencies to ensure comprehensive care
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources and entitlements
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical and professional skills
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in mental health work, providing direct services to clients with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and/or chronic medical conditions
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Licensure and registration to practice as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, or related license in New York State
