Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Analyst (Electrical Manufacturing)
Location: Lynnwood, Washington
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Sourcing Analyst with specialized experience in electrical manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Lynnwood, Washington. This role requires expertise in managing multiple vendors, clients, and projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient procurement processes and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical manufacturing vendors. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and optimize pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and quality assurance goals.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and clients to understand project requirements and ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business objectives. Act as a liaison between clients and vendors to facilitate effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, supplier selection, and procurement strategy development. Continuously monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple sourcing projects concurrently, adhering to timelines and budgetary constraints. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and key metrics.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Draft and review contracts, amendments, and other procurement-related documents as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities. Implement robust contingency plans to minimize disruptions in the supply chain and ensure business continuity.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and software to analyze procurement data, track performance metrics, and generate insightful reports for decision-making purposes. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred. Or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst or similar role within the electrical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management principles, and vendor relations.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier performance.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, SAP, or ERP systems.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
