Summary:

The HR Manager will be pivotal in ensuring effective human resources management within the company. In this role, you will work closely with leaders to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Function as the primary administrator for our client’s benefit plans.

  • Manage all system updates, including running bi-weekly payroll.
  • Partner with external vendors to educate employees on fully leveraging benefit offerings.
  • Administer annual review process, including salary reviews, bonuses, and profit

sharing in partnership with Controller.

  • Participate in benchmarking studies to ensure the organization's compensation and benefits packages remain competitive.
  • Develop initiatives to foster employee engagement, retention, and morale.
  • Organize employee events, team-building activities, and recognition programs as a part of our client’s Culture Crew.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect within the organization.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Develop a talent

network for hard-to-fill positions.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening

resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.

  • Manage the Engineering Co-op Program in partnership with Engineering leadership.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues.
  • Guide leaders to promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the organization's HR practices are fair, consistent, and aligned with best practices.


Qualifications (required and preferred):

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager with a strong generalist background. Demonstrated ability to “own” the HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Paylocity strongly preferred) and MS Office Suite.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
