Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Justify and implement strategies and processes that achieve our goals
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Manage and improve processes; enforce policies
  • Ensure team members work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and development of new team members
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the team member assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for owner
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, team member conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Skills

  • Proven experience as a GM and/or operations leadership role
  • Family entertainment industry experience is a huge plus
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MBA is a plus
