Job description:

Duties:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish

- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors

- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to review plans and specifications

- Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily reports, change orders, and progress reports

- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address concerns

- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management or related field

- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials

- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam or ProCore

- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team

- Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and project management principles

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and specifications

- Experience with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid is a plus

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
