The Volume Ventures is team poised to grow into the media and content world. We are an innovative, detail-oriented and fast-paced team, responsible for the education of the next generation of talent, as well as growing its own online presence as a media house through dynamic digital strategy, engaging social media content, digital advertising campaigns, and more.


Volume Ventures (1500 Sound Academy, Volume Studios) was formed in 2017. Our studio has produced for the biggest names in the music industry. We are a small but powerful team and are looking for a candidate who wants to grow and learn with us We are a company that prides itself on promoting from within, making Volume a great place to not only start your career, but to grow in your career as well.


Your role:

This role will act as the central hub for the social media operations for marketing and content, with an emphasis on short form digital production and distribution. You will oversee the creation of on-trend, viral-focused, easily-consumable, and highly-entertaining low budget content, as well as its’ distribution across social platforms. They will also work with external creative resources, coordinate events, contact both relevant influencers and businesses to create content, and largely help build both a community around the Volume brand. 

The role requires someone personable, adventurous, creative, consistent, and diligent. The position allows for a degree of independence as well as close cooperation and communication with the founders.


Here you’ll get to:

·       Develop and execute a content strategy that includes constant creation and curation of engaging, informative, and innovative content for both Volume and 1500 Sound Academy.

·       Build and maintain a content universe that aligns with our brand values and meets the interests of our diverse audience.

·       Write, organize, and execute recurring entertaining bits or shows based on traction.

·       Manage daily social media activities, ensuring active and consistent posting across all platforms to engage audiences and promote brand interaction.

·       Produce a variety of content formats, including short-form videos for updates, education, and entertainment, as well as some longer-form content for specials or in-depth exploration.

·       Secure and collaborate with brand representatives to expand our reach and strengthen our market presence.

·       Do outreach and coordinate events with both influencers and brands to build brand recognition and create excitement.

·       Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to optimize future content strategies and increase engagement.


About you:

  • You’re passionate about the creative/music industry and eager to learn and grow within the company.
  • You are a native/advanced user of key social platforms – TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Snapchat and Meta
  • You have excellent communication skills, including public speaking and interviews.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and part of the team.
  • Excellent organization, project management and prioritization skills.
  • Your finger is on the pulse of culture, music and trends.
  • You embrace change and are ready to take on new challenges as they come. Are well tuned to the landscape of popular influencers, brands, and general viral culture.
  • You have a basic understanding of the music streaming and digital sales ecosystem.
  • You have experience creating and editing visually appealing photo/video content.
  • You are able to read analytics and develop plans and content in reaction to the data (i.e., audience demographics, similar artists)
  • You are a quick learner who is excited to discover and master new platforms, apps and services.
  • You are able to multi-task and thrive within a fast-paced environment / adjust to last minute changes or needs.


We’d love it if you also had:

  • Basic knowledge of photo/video editing and design software including Canva, Capcut, Photoshop, Premiere, or Final Cut.
  • Basic familiarity with Spotify for Artists, YouTube Creator Studio and TikTok Shop.
  • A degree/certificate from an institute of higher learning (art/design related)
