Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Executive Account Manager to foster enduring relationships with our clients. The Executive Account Manager will oversee a designated portfolio, cultivate additional business from existing clients, and actively pursue new sales opportunities. Responsibilities include building robust client connections, engaging with key stakeholders, and generating sales reports. The Executive Account Manager will also address client inquiries, pinpoint growth prospects within current accounts, and collaborate across departments to enhance the overall customer experience. Travel to clients and plants will be up to 70%.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer objectives.
  • Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and identify areas for sales growth.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Prepare detailed reports on account status.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to uncover and expand opportunities within the territory.
  • Assist in addressing challenging client requests or escalations as necessary.


Requirements:


  • Located in the Bay Area of California.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience, plus 5 to 7 years of Account Management experience.
  • Proven track record as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives and C-level contacts.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot) and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
