Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing processes including planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Develop and monitor policies for efficient and timely product shipment, ensuring compliance with production schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures in all manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct weekly production review meetings and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery demands.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise employees, promoting a culture of high performance and morale.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and senior management to establish annual business forecasts.
  • Maintain constant communication with management staff and vendors to ensure proper operations.
  • Enhance organizational processes using lean manufacturing concepts and principles.
  • Ensure operational activities stay on time and within budget, driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, manufacturing, logistics, and maintenance.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success in a lean manufacturing environment with continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of metal stamping, machining, manufacturing equipment, and subassembly.
  • Experience with production scheduling/planning and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Proficient in general business software (Microsoft Office) and ERP systems (Syteline a plus).
  • Strong conflict management, negotiation, and cost justification skills.
  • Resilient, flexible, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
