They are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction and a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget. As a key member of the team, the Commercial Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities for commercial construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution and timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, and address any issues or concerns proactively.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and value engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong track record of success in a superintendent role.
  • K-12 experience is a bonus.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and techniques, with the ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
