The responsibilities will include:

Leadership 

  • Lead;

Guest Engagement

  • Ensure guest returns/satisfaction;
  • Create hospitality legends, and cultivate regulars;
  • Ensure service and menu alignment with restaurant values.

Business Acumen and compliance

  • P&L;
  • Payroll;
  • Aligning schedules with the team;
  • Delivering real-time communication: team, daily financial targets, and budgeted targets, BOH service delivery, ensuring DOH compliance, HR compliance, mastering operational systems: to train and delegate, an expert at scheduling, inventory, ordering, receiving, training, and utilizing systems to forecast and meet/budget.


Team development

  • Understand the importance of team feedback in decision-making for the restaurant's health, fostering a positive team spirit environment.
  • Able to strategize through solution-based plans.
  • Coach and counsel: Provide feedback and corrective action to hold team members accountable to the restaurant's values, goals, and standards.
  • Recruit, interview, train, and mentor the FOH team.

Overall operations

Ensure guest and team satisfaction, restaurant compliance, assist in the coordination and planning of events, manage weekly payroll and schedules, cash management functions: petty cash, deposits, etc., restaurant outreach, events, and reservations satisfaction, manage inventory systems, oversee inventory, understand POS and operational/electronic systems: menu creation, sheets, etc., keep team educated and elevated on a restaurant menu, daily goals and overall vision, work closely with the director of operations, management team, hourly team, and chefs. Complete oversight of all revenue centers within the restaurant, maintenance aligning with owner's visions, restaurant reputation online, via PR and confidential, and DOH standards/compliance.
