To better serve the global auto industry EV trend in United States, we are now hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for the new manufacturing and warehousing projects. This role will be located in Franklin, Ky. We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Franklin, Ky. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment in multiple warehouses. This includes new equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer also plays a key role in promoting the capacity and productivity of existing equipment, improving quality indicators, and reducing energy consumption and manufacturing costs.
Responsibilities:
- New Equipment Installation:
- Review new equipment schemes (from layout to equipment delivery) and provide feedback to ensure that the new equipment meets the design requirements (reliability, maintainability, product safety/quality).
- Develop and implement equipment electrical FAT/LOP checklists and other documents.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Production Line Launch:
- Promote the new production line launch by controlling milestones such as assembly, debugging, and ramp-up.
- Ensure that the new equipment meets the mass production requirement.
- Existing Equipment Maintenance:
- Promote the capacity and productivity of existing equipment.
- Improve the quality indicators of existing equipment.
- Reduce the energy consumption and manufacturing cost of existing equipment.
- Overhaul and Repair:
- Be responsible for the overhaul of automation systems and robot electrical parts.
- Analyze fault data and formulate improvement plans.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Lead the formulation of AM and PM forms.
- Participate in AM inspection and PM professional maintenance.
- Update AM/PM in time according to equipment operation status.
- Spare Parts Management:
- Make the list of risk spare parts and update it in time.
- Follow up on the purchasing process of risk spare parts.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or automation engineering preferred.
- Familiar with the compilation of electrical schematic diagrams.
- Familiar with components like sensors, servo electromotors, stepping electromotors, and other professional technologies in the automation field.
- Familiar with the software writing of testing equipment and upper computers.
- Proficient in debugging, programming, and optimization of at least one automation equipment PLC (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Omron/Schneider).
- Mastery of debugging, programming, and optimization of two or more automation equipment or industrial robots (KUKA, ABB) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of working experience in electrical maintenance of equipment in a large manufacturing industry.
- Clear logical, engagement, teamwork, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
