Lab Technician

We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our advanced development team, a group dedicated to pioneering hardware projects and innovative solutions. This role is hands-on, with tasks involving prototyping, fabricating, and troubleshooting various mechanical and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for building and testing, and the ability to work flexibly across projects.
Job Responsibilities: -
- Prototype mechanical systems and electronic hardware assemblies.
- Fabricate components using 3D printing and other additive manufacturing methods.
- Create and modify CAD designs.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Manage lab inventory and maintain lab equipment.
- Perform server maintenance and support computer networking tasks as needed.
Qualifications: -
- Experience in a data center or related environment.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise.
- Inventory management skills.
- Forklift certification.
- Proficiency with hand tools, server maintenance, and computer networking.
Must Have Skills: -
3+ years in a similar lab technician role, including:
- Prototyping, electronics assembly, and 3D printing.
- CAD proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) for design and drafting.
- Familiarity with basic coding, especially in Linux.
