The ideal candidate plans, administers, organizes and directs the Human Resources management function of the company along the employee life cycle. The Human Resources Manager ensures to align the local Human Resources Strategy with the Business Strategy and the Corporate Human Resources directives and priorities.

Responsibilities


Staffing & Recruiting

  • Maintain Headcount Plan
  • Ensure approval process for staffing of new positions / backfills is followed as per corporate guidance
  • Ensure job descriptions for all positions are in place and up to date
  • Ensure an efficient hiring process to place suitable talent in order to build organizational capability
  • Coordinate the recruitment process (including job postings, screening of resumes, interviewing potential candidates, counselling of hiring managers on candidate selection)
  • Identify and manage external recruitment agencies / service providers for temp and permanent staff
  • Liaise with employees and managers regarding job changes, internal transfers
  • Organize a comprehensive new employee orientation and provide onboarding procedure
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data


Compensation & Benefits, Payroll and Administration

  • Responsible for payroll runs, payroll compliance incl. complete documentation and approval procedure of payroll data
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talented workers
  • Administer benefit programs (health, dental, 401K, etc.)
  • Review of pay structures and preparation of salary review budget
  • Analyse market trends by using salary benchmarks to advise on salary review budgets
  • Update manual and/or digital HR Records
  • Prepare monthly KPI’s
  • Deal with all HR related enquiries and ad hoc administration
  • Ensure time records are correct and complete and process annual leave, family leave requests


Labor Law & Regulations

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to avoid potential penalties and lawsuits
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies, procedures and employee handbook and implement changes where necessary in line with legislation and / or Corporate Guidelines.
  • Handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts between workers and management
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and complaints on an individual basis
  • Represent the organization at hearings when necessary
  • Retain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
  • Support organization to improve employee relations


Training & Development

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for employee management and training
  • Coordinate and maintain performance appraisal and management systems (9Box Grid) to evaluate employee performance
  • Monitor various aspects of an employee’s performance and coordinate measurements (Individual Development Plan, Performance Improvement Plan) with the Line Manager
  • Develop a yearly training plan for the site with the management team.
  • Organize and conducting employee training and development programs to improve skills and productivity
  • Ensure safety trainings for staff as legally required
  • Support the local leadership team to arrange trainings, seminars and workshops as required.
  • Plan training sessions for sensitive subjects such as diversity and sexual harassment


Employee Wellness & Safety

  • Implement workplace safety procedures and execute best practices to manage risk
  • Schedule and conduct job evaluations and take action to improve employee’s experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Administrative Matters
  • 5+ years of experience driving results in the human resources field
  • 3+ years of experience in labor relations and compliance
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation and employee benefit programs administration
  • 2+ years of experience managing other HR professionals
  • CIPD (or equivalent) certification preferred
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
