Procurement Specialist

We are partnering with a space robotics company who are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team💫


In this role, you will work closely with program teams to facilitate critical purchasing activities and interface directly with key vendors and suppliers, ensuring that materials, goods, and services are acquired at the best possible price and quality. The ideal candidate should have a high level of attention to detail and a strong familiarity with recordkeeping best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing activities including creating purchase orders and recording bills
  • Oversee the expense reporting process and spend categorization
  • Support the filing of state and local sales tax remittances
  • Research and identify potential suppliers for specialized parts and materials
  • Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sales tax guidelines
  • Support inventory tracking and management


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong understanding of pricing frameworks
  • Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with aerospace and/or technology industry supply chains and understanding of GAPP-compliant accrual accounting practices would be advantageous.
