Job Key Responsibilities:

Job Description

  • Provide operational support for AWS cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Monitor and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including network, compute, storage, and security incidents.
  • Administer Linux OS environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Regularly apply updates and patches to address security vulnerabilities for Linux systems.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Architects and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall Cloud Platform strategy.
  • Conduct regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization activities.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure security, including compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Create and update knowledge articles for all supported systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, including proactive incident management and resolution.
  • Follow and adhere to established Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management procedures.
  • 4 years of hands-on experience in Linux OS administration (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud administration and operations support roles.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native components and scripting tools like Shell & Bash.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive incident management with cloud-based troubleshooting.
