  • Generating purchase orders based on demand forecasts and inventory levels
  • Selecting suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance
  • Negotiating with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and conditions
  • Tracking purchase order status and resolving discrepancies
  • Expediting orders as needed to meet production schedules
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Identifying slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommending actions
  • Implementing inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocks
  • Calculating safety stock levels based on demand variability and lead times

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of prior experience required
  • Required to work hours 8:30a-5:00pm, at times working evenings in peak times
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects, handle multiple tasks, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Intermediate skills in Excel
  • Working knowledge Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines
