Manufacturing Operations Analyst - Finance (For Production)

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Type: Temp to Perm

Schedule: Full time.

Pay Rate: $60,000 to $70,000 per year DOE


Description:

As a Manufacturing Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing data and overseeing production processes. This position blends numerical analysis with hands-on supervision and analysis on the production floor to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. You will manage data collection, develop systems for data integrity, and work closely with production teams to ensure accurate and efficient operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce standardized reporting methodologies to support business decisions.
  • Supervise and analyze production processes on the floor to ensure efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Create and oversee training programs for Team Leaders (TL) and Production Team Managers (PTM) focused on data integrity and inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers (PE) to audit and ensure data accuracy within production processes.
  • Use technology to streamline data collection and minimize paperwork.
  • Identify variances between standard and actual costs for capacity planning and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct month-end closing variance investigations and root cause analyses using KPIs.
  • Review annual budgets and forecasts for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with departmental goals.
  • Initiate IT requests to enhance business analysis and functionality within the process unit.
  • Lead technology-driven projects aimed at controlling labor and material costs.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend actions to improve processes.
  • Manage selected projects and collect/analyze metrics to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Place requisitions for department supplies and equipment.

  • Consistent and accurate measurement of KPIs
  • Financial and operational reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer goods) with experience in both data analysis and production floor supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and financial modeling.
