Role Overview:

We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Lead Financial Analyst to join our finance division. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial operations, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. This position presents a remarkable opportunity for a driven professional to significantly impact the financial trajectory of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring precision and promptness in all transactions.
  • Manage the general ledger and uphold a comprehensive chart of accounts in line with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Perform variance analysis and financial performance assessments to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare necessary regulatory filings and reports as mandated by industry authorities.
  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting personnel, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth.
  • Remain informed about updates in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant changes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles and/or full-cycle accounting experience in construction, engineering, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across various departments.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
