Wholesale Distribution Sales Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Distribution Sales Manager with a minimum of 5 years in wholesale distribution sales. Territory includes management of Southwest, Gulf States and Inside sales personnel and customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, building strong client relationships, closing sales, and leading a sales team to achieve targets. Key Responsibilities:


- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly


- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple vendors. Address client needs and resolve any issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction


- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team. Provide training, support, and performance feedback to ensure team members meet their targets and professional growth


- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Analyze sales data to forecast future sales and develop actionable insights. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management


- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends. Stay informed about industry developments to keep the company competitive


- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and product management to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives


Qualifications:


- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in wholesale distribution sales, with a strong track record of closing sales and managing a team


- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities


- Knowledge: Deep understanding of wholesale distribution processes, market dynamics, and customer needs


- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred


- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in sales management software, including CRM


*Must live in the Fort Worth, TX area or be willing to relocate
