This role encompasses overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout. The Construction Project Manager/Estimator will collaborate closely with customers, clients, subcontractors, and resource providers to achieve project success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the construction process.
  • Educate customers on construction procedures and processes.
  • Compile and resolve punch list items, performing final walk-throughs with customers.
  • Secure signed Certificates of Completion and Satisfaction from customers.
  • Oversee all warranty activities related to completed projects.
  • Evaluate and sell projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Identify and document project scope of work, reviewing and creating estimates.
  • Obtain client and customer agreement on project scope and estimate.
  • Review and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure proper permits are acquired and all work complies with local codes.
  • Identify, qualify, and negotiate terms with subcontractors and resource providers.
  • Plan, organize, and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Schedule subcontractors and material suppliers efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with project plans, specifications, and scope requirements.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required; BA in engineering, construction science, or related field preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction management and estimating required.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate™ estimating software preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.


Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally climb ladders.
  • Frequent driving and sitting may be required.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme conditions such as heat.
