Job Description

SBS Franchising LLC is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other personnel related matters.
  • Administer HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale, and training and development.
  • Administer bi-monthly payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payment to approximately 90 employees using Intuit payroll software.
  • Maintain digital files for employee documents.
  • Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Consistently update the HRIS with employee records and maintain compliance with recordkeeping laws.
  • Confirm the preparation and submission of comprehensive federal and state quarterly and annual reports, such as 941, W-2, W-3, DE-9.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems for managing employee records and payroll processes - currently using BambooHR.
  • Ability to conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications effectively.
  • Ability to handle all facets of HR including payroll administration & processing, health benefit plan negotiations and administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Knowledge or familiarity of Google Workspace.


Education and Experience

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in processing full cycle payroll in a multi-state environment with exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • CPP, SHRM-CP or PHR highly preferred.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary Range of $85,000 to $95,000 per year to commensurate with experience
