Position Accountabilities and Expectations:

  • Increase operational effectiveness by leading direct reports and communicating IMS Core values, strategies, and warehouse objectives.
  • Monitor and improve the team’s efficiency and productivity using standards and KPIs. Ensure that operational goals are attained and coordinated with other departmental functions and leadership as necessary.
  • Work with direct reports to improve overall service while driving process improvement and best practices including, but not limited to, event fulfillment, productivity, warehouse collaboration and communication efforts, and overall logistics.
  • Provide training and guidance that encourages the development of capable, contributing team members. Set the appropriate tone in the workplace to build team member engagement and retention.
  • Provide continuous feedback to direct reports through annual reviews and consistent one-on-ones. Establish clear expectations regarding responsibilities, behaviors, and daily activities.
  • Support staffing activity including selection, performance management, training and development, and workforce planning recommendations as necessary.
  • Coordinate and lead warehouse team to ensure daily tasks are completed on time and by priority events.
  • Monitor inventory levels of equipment to maximize availability and utilization for high-demand items. Ensure high accuracy in physical inventory results, monitoring repair or replacement standards, and quality control.
  • Develop and foster an atmosphere of high employee morale through an active, fair, and consistent implementation of IMS policies and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring daily routing and prioritizing on-time delivery/pick up. Perform frequent audits to monitor on-time performance and meeting event objectives.
  • Monitor regular vehicle maintenance, condition, and operation for Linwood Office.
  • Completes all paperwork accurately and within the expected timeframe: timesheets, schedules, transportation, and equipment conformations.
  • Coordinate with all IMS offices to ensure safety standards and health and safety protocols are . adhered to.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other business-related duties as assigned.


What you will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience. A college degree or specialized certifications are a plus.
  • 5-8 years of industry-related experience, preferably in event management or warehousing
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of supervisory experience in a comparable operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess performance levels and analyze productivity and quality results to make improvements or take proper corrective action.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform all event warehouse activities including driving, filling, checking, loading up vehicles, and delivering equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to provide the supervision necessary as business needs change. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime based on business needs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be a certified forklift driver, and have a valid driver’s license (with a minimum of 5 years clean driving record) to drive vans/trucks up to 26’.
