Role Description

As a Full Stack Engineer at Plannery, you will be pivotal in evolving our MVP from an inspired concept into a living, breathing reality. Working closely with our Founder and CEO, you'll craft innovative solutions that tackle real-world challenges head-on. This role is tailor-made for those who flourish in dynamic settings, relish overcoming obstacles, and are passionate about leaving a lasting impact on our tech ecosystem. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of an innovative product from the drawing board to its market debut. Your mission will be to ensure it's scalable, blazing fast, and designed with the user in mind.
  • Weave a web of connectivity by integrating a variety of APIs, enhancing our platform's capabilities, and ensuring seamless data flows. You'll expand our features and make our platform more robust.
  • Harness the power of cutting-edge technologies like React, Node.js, Python, and AWS to construct comprehensive full-stack solutions. Your code will be the backbone of our innovative applications.
  • Become the engineering confidant to our Founder. Your expertise will lead the way in technical decisions, setting the standard for excellence in software development across the team.
  • Lead the charge in incorporating third-party services and APIs, smoothing out our application's functionality and elevating our array of services.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced startup SaaS environment, with a strong emphasis on agility and innovation.
  • Deep-rooted expertise in full-stack development, with your hands firmly planted in React for the front end, and either Node.js or Python powering the back end.
  • A solid foundation in cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
  • A knack for seamless integration, showcasing your prowess in API design and the incorporation of third-party APIs to enhance our platform's capabilities.
  • A rigorous approach to testing, ensuring reliability at every level from unit to integration tests.
  • A proven track record, not just participating, but leading the charge in crafting and launching large-scale web applications from the ground up.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, where you see challenges as opportunities to invent and execute efficient solutions.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, adept at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration across diverse teams.
