Job Summary: The fully remote Full Stack Developer will be an integral part of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Strategy & Analytics staff, collaborating on the development of both back and front-end internal software stacks. This position will be the primary devops owner maintaining the GCP back-end and partnering with the Product team to create player development dashboards and a stats hub.

What you will do: (Responsibilities)

Work collaboratively with the Lead Full Stack Developer to create, design, and develop cloud-based frontend and backend software solutions Implement DevOps best practices utilizing Kubernetes and Terraform Implement and maintain identity management platform, Curity or Keycloak Redevelop data ingestion pipelines from new and existing data feeds Partner with the Product team to code designs vetted by Basketball stakeholders Meet regularly with the Basketball Strategy & Analytics staff virtually to ideate, discuss, debate, and present projects and updates. Invest in building long-lasting relationships both externally and internally while following up on contacts made by the executives to cultivate ongoing relationships

What we need from you: (Required Skills/Abilities)

Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or a similar role Strong programming ability across multiple languages and libraries (e.g. Typescript, Python, HTML/ CSS) Experience using at least one state-of-the-art web infrastructure framework (e.g. React, Vue, Angular) Experience building and designing websites and data visualizations Attention to detail with exemplified ability to check work Capable of maintaining productivity in both independent and team environments Maintain well-organized and structured code repositories for reproducibility Willingness and ability to learn necessary skills for full-stack development Positive and collaborative communicator with a willingness to ask questions and challenge the status quo Willing and able to work remotely, full-time Passion for basketball and sports is a plus

Education And Experience

B.S. or M.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field Knowledge of backend development tools/languages (e.g. Golang and databases) Knowledge of GCP infrastructure including Kubernetes and Terraform Experience working with databases and analytics systems Experience building fast, interactive visualizations using large datasets
