Job Description:

The COO will be responsible for overseeing our daily operations and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in the grocery or retail industry, who is passionate about innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company's growth and expansion goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all areas.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize supply chain and inventory management to ensure product availability and quality.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service and a seamless shopping experience.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for disruption and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve ambitious financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a COO or similar leadership role in the grocery or retail industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and growth.
  • Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and culture is a plus.
