JOB SUMMARY:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing long terms sales relationships, while promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. Your primary goal will be to nurture sales relationships, meet client needs and drive business growth for our company.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Engagement: Identify and engage potential customers through various methods, such as cold calling, referrals, networking, and attending industry events. Maintain a database of leads and prioritize them for sales outreach. Develop a strong partnership between clients and suppliers to deliver long-term technical support and post-sale service.
  • Education and Consultation: Train installers and EPCs on our product offerings, highlighting the most suitable options for their projects. Ensure clients are informed about product updates and new releases. Ensure clients are aware of policy and legal developments and their potential impact. Stay informed about industry news and emerging trends.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue goals. Analyze sales metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Negotiate pricing with clients and suppliers to find a mutually beneficial solution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective project execution. Share insights and best practices to enhance overall sales effectiveness.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales.
  • The preferred candidate has experience in the solar industry, or a background in distribution sales or wholesale distribution; alternatively a candidate has experience with long-term sales.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team, driving performance and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to customers and team members.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Resilient with an upbeat and energetic personality. Self-motivated and quick-thinking, with a positive attitude and team player mindset.
  • Solutions-driven, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Dependable and flexible, with a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
