Environmental Health Safety Engineer

This EHS Engineer will ensure that all occupational health and safety standards are followed and that adherence to environmental laws is maintained in this industrial manufacturing work environment. This person will devise safety plans, monitor practices to ensure compliance, write up safety policies and procedures, and respond to emergencies as needed. They will also review the impact the industry has on the environment and create plans to minimize or eliminate any impact on the company's surroundings, and collaborate with managers, safety leaders, inspectors, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or in environmental health and safety
-3-5 years of working experience within EHS practices
-3 years of manufacturing plant-level experience
-Cross-departmental communication
