Overview:

As a Clinical Research Physician, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing clinical development and trial operations within our organization. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including patients, health authorities, colleagues, and biopharmaceutical companies. Your primary focus will be on managing clinical trials across phases I to IV, ensuring the safety of trial participants, and providing expert clinical and scientific input.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert clinical guidance throughout the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and networks with internal and external medical professionals, opinion leaders, and biopharmaceutical sponsors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement, to support all aspects of clinical trial execution.
  • Lead and oversee a team of researchers and clinical staff, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to research protocols.
  • Manage the successful implementation of research protocols, including evaluating study participants' eligibility, performing necessary physical exams, and assessing patient health through interviews and examinations.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment goals, and study procedures.
  • Review diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the study team, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of post-training experience in gastroenterology/hepatology or neurology.
  • Must be currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment with no history of license suspension or debarment.
  • Advanced understanding of treatment methodologies and drug interactions.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with patients and biopharmaceutical sponsors.
  • Strong focus on precision and accuracy in all aspects of clinical research.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to provide effective oversight and mentorship.
  • Solid background in clinical research and trial management.
