SEC Reporting Manager

  • Prepare the quarterly management reporting package
  • Assist in the preparation of the earnings release and review the financial information included in the earnings release and script
  • Assist in the preparation of definitive proxy statements
  • Prepare the quarterly/annual SEC reporting folder which includes the tie out of the relevant SEC forms being filed as well as compiling approvals received for filing
  • Participate in the quarterly close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations (stock-based compensation, intangibles, goodwill, investments, etc.), quarterly cash flow statements, weighted shares calculation for reporting earnings per share
  • Coordinate and assist the tax department in their tax provision calculations
  • Support and manage external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of disclosure checklist and preparation of financial schedules
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, especially Tax and Legal
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements, including evaluation of the impact of recent and proposed pronouncements on SEC reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual governmental surveys
  • Assist in researching and preparing analyses related to ad-hoc technical accounting topics


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA or equivalent preferred

5-7 years of experience

Big 4 public accounting background preferred

Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404 and SEC reporting standards, as well as experience with technical research

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
