We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our dynamic team in our facility just north of Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of lean principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive cultural change.


The Opportunity:

- Lead and manage lean manufacturing projects to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

- Develop and implement lean strategies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement across all departments.

- Conduct value stream mapping, process analysis, and time studies to identify areas for improvement.

- Train, mentor, and coach employees at all levels on lean principles, tools, and techniques.

- Facilitate kaizen events, workshops, and other lean activities to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure sustainable improvements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.

- Develop and maintain standardized work, visual management, and 5S practices.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

- Report on lean initiatives and progress to senior management.


What we are seeking:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

- 5-7 years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement roles, 2-3 of which in leadership positions.

- Strong knowledge of lean principles, tools, and techniques (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, Mixed Model VS, Yamazumi charts, Standardized Work, Spaghetti Diagrams, 5S, and PFEP. ).

- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable.

- Proven track record of successfully leading lean initiatives and delivering measurable results.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and lean software tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
