Inside Sales Rep-Biotech

Ultimate Staffing is looking for an Inside Sales Support Representative for a well-established biotechnology company in the South St. Louis County area. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred, not required), proven experience in a similar role (preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry), strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in CRM software, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of biotechnology products and industry trends.
Compensation: $48-52K (Depending on Experience) ($22-25/hr) May be negotiable for the right candidate
Status: Temp to Hire
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30 pm (I hour lunch)
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
- Provide assistance to customers regarding product inquiries, orders, and deliveries.
- Address customer queries and concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and requirements.
Order Processing:
- Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with various departments, including logistics and inventory, to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Maintain and update customer databases with order details.
Sales Team Assistance:
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate and qualify leads.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and quotations.
- Provide administrative support to the sales representatives.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the biotechnology products and services offered by the company.
- Communicate product features and benefits to customers.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of sales-related activities.
- Prepare reports on sales metrics, order status, and customer interactions.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. (Chemistry, Biology)
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of biotechnology products and industry trends.
