Ultimate Staffing is looking for an Inside Sales Support Representative for a well-established biotechnology company in the South St. Louis County area. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred, not required), proven experience in a similar role (preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry), strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in CRM software, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of biotechnology products and industry trends.

Compensation: $48-52K (Depending on Experience) ($22-25/hr) May be negotiable for the right candidate

Status: Temp to Hire

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30 pm (I hour lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:

  • Provide assistance to customers regarding product inquiries, orders, and deliveries.
    • Address customer queries and concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and requirements.

Order Processing:

  • Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate with various departments, including logistics and inventory, to ensure on-time delivery of products.
    • Maintain and update customer databases with order details.

Sales Team Assistance:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate and qualify leads.
    • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and quotations.
    • Provide administrative support to the sales representatives.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the biotechnology products and services offered by the company.
    • Communicate product features and benefits to customers.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales-related activities.
    • Prepare reports on sales metrics, order status, and customer interactions.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support.
    • Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
    • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. (Chemistry, Biology)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of biotechnology products and industry trends.
