Broadlake Financial Management is an independently owned, investment advisory firm located in South Burlington, VT. Founded in 1989, our culture is client focused, collegial and collaborative with a belief that a well-balanced work/life environment creates the happiest, most productive co-workers. We are seeking an on-site, resourceful Assistant Portfolio Administrator who would like to be part of the best client service team in Vermont.  


Responsibilities

Client Service: Perform general client service work flow support, including greeting visiting clients and guests, answering and routing incoming phone calls, and responding to client requests for information.

Operational Support: Support all operational aspects of a growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), including custodial paperwork (account openings & transfers, etc.), money movements, tax document requests, data management, on-going maintenance of client accounts, and ad-hoc projects.

Platform Trading: Monitor daily transactions and place routine trades.

Compliance: Assist Compliance Manager with data-collection, reporting and record-keeping requirements.


Required Skills

Education: College Degree (BA/BS)

Industry Experience/Credentials: Professional experience within the investment advisory business strongly preferred. Have, or willingness to attain, Series 65 Securities License. 

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Familiarity with custodial platforms such as Fidelity’s Wealthscape and Schwab’s Advisor Center a bonus.

Detail-Oriented: Highly organized, proactive, quick learner, flexible, with strong attention to detail.

Autonomy: Ability to function as a "self-starter," think and work autonomously, manage/prioritize time effectively, and coordinate tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Positive Attitude: Maintain a professional appearance, a positive friendly attitude, and a sense of humor.
