We are looking to add a product designer that will roll up their sleeves and join us in our mission of impactful innovation. .


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Present ideas for parenting products and baby gear items through sketches, 3D models and renderings. 
  • Design products with a focus on innovative functionality combined with pleasing aesthetics. 
  • Render realistic product images and product instructional videos for supporting graphic and marketing teams. 
  • Research and understand customer pain points of existing product solutions in the baby industry. 
  • Conceptualize and develop user-centric products that address the evolving needs of parents. 
  • Work with our development team to conceive, modify, and refine designs using working samples to conform with production limitations, product cost, and changes in design trends. 
  • Communicate with factories in China and keep projects on track from idea through production. 
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, materials and manufacturing processes relevant to the baby industry. 
  • This position is on-site in Lakewood, NJ. 


Qualifications & Skills: 

  • BS, BA, BID or BFA in Industrial Design, Masters preferred. 
  • 1-5 years of professional consumer product design experience in a related field. Baby or toy experience preferred. 
  • Hard goods experience required. Soft goods experience a plus. 
  • Strong design portfolio REQUIRED. 
  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks & Rhino, Sub-D modeling skills preferred. 
  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing Keyshot to create realistic product images. 
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator required. 
  • Basic knowledge of mold-making and CMF required.  
  • Ability to multi-task and manage many projects at once. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Patience & perseverance to work on complicated projects from start to finish. 
  • Creativity and out-of-the –box thinking in colors, shape and technique. 
  • Quick learner and team player. 
  • Passion for design and desire to learn and grow by keeping up with new technologies and industry trends.
