Opportunity


A Standish Compliance Intern has the unique opportunity to learn the private fund industry and SEC compliance practice from veteran SEC and industry experts, mid-level seasoned compliance professionals and other dedicated junior team members in an inviting and rewarding atmosphere. Position Summary


  • Assist Standish Compliance clients in complying with applicable IT regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring all IT policies and procedures are reviewed on schedule and updated as necessary/appropriate.
  • Work closely with the Standish Compliance team to learn the private fund industry, clients’ businesses, and compliance program, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as part of Standish Compliance client service teams and work together with compliance associates and compliance officers to help organize and deliver exceptional compliance services.
  • Maintain compliance calendars and checklists, organize, track and review firm and employee compliance reporting, monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory filings and provide support and assistance to the Standish Compliance team.

Candidate Requirements



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or other advanced degree in Finance, Business, IT or the Humanities with an interest in financial services
  • Graduation date between Spring 2025 - Fall 2026
  • Strong experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze and document both business and technical processes
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information, work with limited supervision, and collaborate with various team members.
  • Able to work in the U.S without sponsorship
  • Able to work part-time from our office in Dallas, TX
