Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of companies within the Financials sector, including financial modeling, valuation, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and investment theses to support long and short investment ideas.
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends, industry developments, and macroeconomic factors that impact the Financials sector.
  • Generate actionable investment recommendations and present findings to senior management and investment committees.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to refine and execute long/short investment strategies.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, technological advancements, and other factors affecting the Financials sector.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of investment strategies and risk management practices.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Buy or Sell Side experience in Equity Research in the broader Financials sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing long/short investment strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
