Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Connected Vehicle Safety

As we expand and innovate, we seek an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to spearhead our product team.


Position Overview:

This role is for those who thrive in the trenches of a scaling startup. You'll be the vanguard of our product management team, with the opportunity to shape and expand it as we grow. As the Senior Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving product vision, strategy, and execution, collaborating closely with customers, internal teams, and market trends to craft groundbreaking solutions for connected transportation globally.


Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Craft and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals and market dynamics.
  • Lead the product team in defining and articulating the roadmap for current and future product offerings.

Market Research and Customer Insights:

  • Conduct thorough market research to discern customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Garner valuable customer insights through direct engagement, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to inform product evolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster close collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive execution of the product roadmap.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product organization.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product releases.
  • Navigate competing priorities effectively while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional user value.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and growth.
  • Champion a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and professional development.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Effectively communicate product strategies and updates to internal and external stakeholders, serving as a spokesperson for our offerings at industry events and conferences.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of leadership in Product Management, with a history of successfully launching innovative products.
  • Deep understanding of connected vehicle technologies, IoT, and emerging trends in automotive and public safety sectors.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a knack for translating market insights into actionable product plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment is advantageous.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Familiarity with Category Creators and experience with Jira preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with previous experience owning product ownership entirely.
