The Senior Product Manager will oversee @properties' Deal Management System (DMS), a key component within pl@tformTM. pl@tformTM is a proprietary end-to-end solution utilized by real estate brokers and brokerage staff. Developed by licensed real estate experts and created in-house by a team of over 30 product owners, managers, UI/UX designers, and engineers, pl@tformTM offers a comprehensive dashboard of fully integrated, cloud-based tools. These tools empower agents in various areas including client relationship management, marketing, transaction management, and both external and internal collaboration.The DMS streamlines a brokers' deal pipeline and their documentation processes, ensuring a seamless transaction experience for their clients. It also aids brokerage staff in managing transaction compliance and commission payments. Key features of the DMS include contract workflows, checklists, document management, and integrations with e-signature and accounting software.Reporting to the Director of Product, the Senior Product Manager for the DMS plays a critical role in our team. Success in this role hinges on establishing empathy and a deep understanding of our user base, then leveraging this insight to provide informed development recommendations. They must be able to retain a strong understanding of user workflows and processes and can think critically about potential effects when altering the ways our users operate within the system.The Senior Product Manager will be committed to owning the entire DMS product line and is comfortable with all aspects of the product lifecycle, from discovery through implementation and support. As a leader within the development team, they are tasked with defining and delivering large-scale development initiatives while ensuring the team meets sprint and roadmap commitments. Proactivity is key, as they anticipate and address potential issues before they arise. Possessing strong relationship and communication skills, they excel at distilling and articulating business problems and recommendations clearly and effectively.Duties:Strategizes with senior leadership on effective solutions to solve business problems, then provides solutions & timelines to determine an effective path forwardLeads the strategic vision and manages product roadmaps for our DMS and collaborates with product team members and development teams to execute on the strategic visionWorks directly on a sprint team to make decisions and calls about priority and sequencingGathers requirements and defines solutions through research and analysis of existing systems and workflows, as well as conversation with subject matter expertsMonitors competitive landscape to ensure products stay ahead of the curveFacilitates story writing and requirements definition with a development team to ensure software development activities align to business objectivesExecutes UAT on individual user stories to ensure requirements are met and guard against disruptive edge casesManages and prioritizes a backlog based on input and objectives from the Product team and leadershipOversees the work of development teams to ensure that software development activities align to business objectivesPrioritizes initiatives based on input and objectives from the Product team and leadershipOther duties as assignedQualifications:5+ years experience in progressive product positions such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, and Product ManagerExperience as a manager of people, supervising one or more direct reportsAbility to understand and articulate complex workflows and willingness to perform in-depth, hands-on execution in addition to forming strategic opinionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to correspond effectively across all levels of the organization including user stories, process flow diagrams, wireframes, and executive-level pitch decksExperience managing multiple initiatives from setting the strategic vision to hands-on execution.Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up style environment with a servant leadership approachPassion for leading and actively participating in software development projects from ideation through implementation and ongoing supportEffective technology literacy skills including familiarity with SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptStrong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail to produce high quality of workExperience with Agile methodologies and acting as a leader within a development teamExperience in digital project management, product development, and AgileExcellent process-driven mindset, organizational and analytical skillsIndustry experience building software tools in any of the following sectors: Real Estate Transaction, Accounting and Payroll, or Finance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
