We are looking for someone to play a key role in the function by leading the market intelligence team to provide strategic insight and information to ensure the firm goes to market in the optimum way across multiple industries. Your work will feed straight into the firms key decision makers, making this a highly visible role within the team. You will also report directly into the Global Director of BD & Clients, giving you a clear pathway for future mid-long term career development within the role.

Core duties will include;

  • Manage the firms client intelligence team, to provide research and analysis that will allow the firm to make key strategic decisions, ontop of the internal team you will also have the opportunity to manage an outsourced research provider.
  • Lead on the creation and delivery of strategic reports and market analysis, this will be filtered or presented to senior stakeholders, allowing them to be aware of market trends and developments.
  • Be aware of the developing nature of AI, how this could be best utilised across the firm, working with key internal teams on how aspects could be adopted.
  • Provide indepth competitor analysis to the firm, to ensure that they are positioned in the best manner possible.
  • Work closely with other members of the Marketing & BD function to support on the client relationship and development work in particular. Your insight can also be leveraged into the bids and tender process too.

We would like to engage individuals who have a real passion and interest in the analytical approach to BD from within the Legal sector currently and from within wider professional services. We are open to people with different levels of management experience as we can mould the role to fit individuals experience.

If you fall outside of the salary banding, then I would still welcome a conversation as to whether we could still explore this further. Alongside the above it would also be an ideal fit for someone who wants to go on a journey with a new firm, the firm has recently hired a new CMO and this role alongside others is part of a wider process of growing the marketing team and function.

If this could be worth an initial conversation, please click apply or contact Ben Curle directly.
